about jonathan west tutoring​


I have been tutoring students of all ages—elementary to adult—since 2012. I teach multiple subjects in person in Rochester, MN, and online from coast to coast and overseas. This includes lessons with individuals and small groups as well as classes, including my own and those at the Art of Sciences Summer Camp. About me


I grew up floating in a vat of boiling water in Texas. I have always loved words, and in high school, I met Latin, which clamped down on my heart like a ravenous croc and never let go! I studied Latin and Greek at a liberal arts college then moved to the Chicago, IL, area, for grad school, starting a family shortly thereafter. In 2010, we emigrated from that block of ice to another (Rochester, MN). When I’m not tutoring, I’m trying to keep my shrewd mini Aussiedoodle out of trouble. I also read, draw, play chess, and solve crosswords and nonograms.
